2012 Obam Polls

They proved that 58 million people can be misled. Funny, though, with the darn electoral college, Gore having more votes than Bush, still lost! It shouldn't be that way. On a National level, the most votes win, period!

Augusta Golf Tickets

I think that everyone started on President George Bush because he told the world that he believe in God. Everyone in the world thinks that Americans are all nonbelievers but that's what the media tells the world by their movies, television shows and the news media. We are the most generous people in the world we send our young people in harms way without a second thought but all the other countries have a mandatory draft. Americans will keep your way of thinking and do not care what the rest of the world has to say.

Obama

Bush never had to fight for anything.
His daddy gave him everything and still is giving him everything.

What I don't understand is why the people who want us out of Iraq just don't bump off The Decider ?

Maybe it's because they built their economy on "playing paintball" with the US soldiers being extra points and keeping the field clean. The problem is that you can't tell who is who because they all are using the same color paint.

I did not vote for Bush but I still respect that everyone can have their own political beliefs. I have my own thoughts about the soudness of the last election. But I do not advocate punishing people for the way they vote.

Those of us, myself included had nothing to choose from. He was the lesser of 2 evils. If you can't nominate good candidates then don't expect good presidents. Yes, we can talk the talk and walk the walk but not when you have to follow a crooked path.

We should put them on a far away island w/ Bush and let him dictate them till they die. That'll teach em.

Obama Polls

good answer john farber, i like your premise. i don't understand how people in an economically depressed area will vote republican. maybe its a racial thing, and they see democrats/liberals as the black party. i have wondered about that for a long time.

2012 Obam Polls

I can understand why a rich person or representatives of a large corporation would vote republican, Bush or other, the republicans do well by them when in office, tax breaks, little if any oversight, little if any antitrust, the republicans even let business people write the laws that the republicans then introduce and vote for.
But when a middle class person, someone who has to work hard for a living, vote republican, vote for people who do not care about them and govern against his/her interest, it is sad and can only be explained by believing that those people act without knowing any better.
