How do you feel about those 58 million people who voted for George W. Bush?

englandblueskies asked:

Personally, do you think we should round up all those 58 million idiots and put them in the front line with a gun to see how stupid it would feel to get their own heads blown off?

I am asking this question not because I am a cold-blooded person, but the fact that almost every day I hear a United States soldier is either killed or wounded in Iraq. Many people are suffering in Iraq—both American soldiers and Iraqi civilians—yet the United States continues to sit back and have fun playing poker, gambling more chips (lives) away as days go by. Republicans (still) think it is fair that Bush gets to play golf with his buddy Tony Blair, while Americans have to work their own @ss off for low wages.

To the people who voted for George W. Bush, why are you so quick to pick George W. Bush for president without thinking, yet you are so hesitant to pick up a gun and fight in Iraq? You people talk the talk, but do not have any balls to walk the walk.

Hooaah. I agree with you about the 58 million, but I’d like to add to the couple million democrat votes that miraculously disappeared during both elections with this moron. Not to mention all the people in the country Bush disenfranchised.

Sad truth is, Bush couldn’t even show up for a drill weekend, can you imagine what his wussy, brush cleaning butt would be like on a front line? HAND HIM OVER!

We’d be in pretty bad shape without those people who recognized a leader when they saw one. You see, if those soldiers weren’t over there fighting and dying to keep the maniacs confined to that part of the world, you might not have the opportunity under muslim rule to voice silly opinions on YA. The mullahs won’t stand for that kind of nonsense. Every generation has come up with a group of people who will sacrifice so that you can safely sit at home and try to articulate your ignorance. They will carry your share of the load. John Suart Mill said, in so many words, “War is an ugly thing, but it is not the ugliest of things. The state of moral decay of a people who think that nothing is worth fighting for is much worse. The person who thinks that nothing is more important than his own personal safety is a miserable creature who will never be free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.” Those who are not willing to fight for their freedom will surely lose it.

I refuse to play the game of “voting” the selections of 2000 and 2004 only prove my point that it is a waste of time. What do I think of the idiots who still believe that voting matters? I say shut up and eat crow! Serves ya right!

Those 58 million “voters” were the majority and will be the majority for a while. Your premise that they should all be shot falls in line with the murder of 40 million babies since 1973 that you “Progressives” have condoned. Keep talking, we need to know who you really are!!

I can understand why a rich person or representatives of a large corporation would vote republican, Bush or other, the republicans do well by them when in office, tax breaks, little if any oversight, little if any antitrust, the republicans even let business people write the laws that the republicans then introduce and vote for.
But when a middle class person, someone who has to work hard for a living, vote republican, vote for people who do not care about them and govern against his/her interest, it is sad and can only be explained by believing that those people act without knowing any better.

good answer john farber, i like your premise. i don’t understand how people in an economically depressed area will vote republican. maybe its a racial thing, and they see democrats/liberals as the black party. i have wondered about that for a long time.

Those of us, myself included had nothing to choose from. He was the lesser of 2 evils. If you can’t nominate good candidates then don’t expect good presidents. Yes, we can talk the talk and walk the walk but not when you have to follow a crooked path.

I did not vote for Bush but I still respect that everyone can have their own political beliefs. I have my own thoughts about the soudness of the last election. But I do not advocate punishing people for the way they vote.

Bush never had to fight for anything.
His daddy gave him everything and still is giving him everything.

What I don’t understand is why the people who want us out of Iraq just don’t bump off The Decider ?

Maybe it’s because they built their economy on “playing paintball” with the US soldiers being extra points and keeping the field clean. The problem is that you can’t tell who is who because they all are using the same color paint.

I think that everyone started on President George Bush because he told the world that he believe in God. Everyone in the world thinks that Americans are all nonbelievers but that’s what the media tells the world by their movies, television shows and the news media. We are the most generous people in the world we send our young people in harms way without a second thought but all the other countries have a mandatory draft. Americans will keep your way of thinking and do not care what the rest of the world has to say.

They proved that 58 million people can be misled. Funny, though, with the darn electoral college, Gore having more votes than Bush, still lost! It shouldn’t be that way. On a National level, the most votes win, period!
