Has anyone dealt with an inflamed bursa sac?

This has got to be the ugliest thing I've ever seen? I dont think I broke or chipped my elbow ,but my elbow is the size of a golf ball..Who has had this and what did you do to get rid of it..Ice and and moltin have not worked. Its been 2 weeks now..I heard draining and cortizon,Does that work....???????

I used ice and rest and it went away very soon. I was told if it the skin over it remained white it wasn’t extremely dangerous, was just the liquid from the bursa sac had leaked out. If, however it is reddish colored and worse, has red streaks heading heartward, it is extremely dangerous and you should see a doctor right away.
Seems to me since you’ve had it so long, you should see a doctor and they can do whatever magic they think, probably what you’ve suggested, drain it, cortisone shots, etc.
I think whatever the doctor does will work as in this is not an extremely rare condition and there is probably an accepted fix in the medical profession.
