Is Tiger Woods stupid?

niceguy asked:

When his wife was in labor about to have her baby, Tiger Woods was practicing hitting golf balls on the corse. Then when they told him that she was about ready to have it, he said that he was almost done with his chipping. After chipping about 50 balls, his caddy asked if he was ready to go and Tiger said that he needed to practice his putting for the upcoming British open. By the time he was done, it was getting dark and he missed the birth. He should have at least taken a break!

What is a good first car?

Albert F. asked:

I have 2 cars right now, Suzuki Esteem 1999 and Volkswagon Golf 2000. I am selling the Esteem, and maybe keeping the Golf (it has much work done on it, like blow off valves, cold air intake, speed chipped, turbocharged, etc.), but I thinking to sell the Golf and get a new car. Any good first cars?
I was thinking: Honda Civic 2002, Mitsubishi Eclipse 2002, or even a 2001 Nissan Skyline

What to do for lunch?

...Just me... asked:

So, later this afternoon, I am going to have two very hungry men coming home from about a 5 hour golf game. I am going to make them lunch but I do not want to make the same old sandwiches and chip or pretzels...etc etc. I would like to put together a decent somewhat hearty meal (yet still keeping it a lunch). Any suggestions?!

So I have this idea right, i need opinions ofc?

oge retlA s'oge retlA yM asked:

So, whats the problem with having a little tracker in golf balls? Has this already been done?

The only problems I can see are the cost and that the chip might break easily due to the constant pounding of a golf club.

Should I see a psychologist?

Trent Smith asked:

So I have been playing golf ALOT lately to prepare for the upcoming school golf season. I take lessons from a private instructor who says my swing is practically perfect, my chipping is great, and my putting is great. I'm to the point that whenever I play alone I always shoot under 85 and I'm really close to breaking 80. However, this falls apart whenever I play with other people or if I start to have a day where I might break 80. For instance, the other day the front nine I shot a 39, but then I shot a 45 on the back ruining my chances. The other example is a couple days ago, I played a round at a really nice golf course with some friends and my uncle. I shot over 100....
Look, I don't have a problem with having a bad day, everyone has them. However, I get extremely anxious, nervous, worry some, and fearful right before the round and before each shot. Especially when other people are around. On top of that, if I hit a bad shot or something I get really frustrated with myself and everyone around me notices my anger. After a long period of anger I start to get depressed and give up. I just want to have a bad day while staying on my mental game. I've only played two matches (one good, one bad) where i didnt feel this anxiety. I also play basketball and this same thing happens to me.
I've been researching Post Traumatic Stress Disorder because it fit all of my symptoms and I've been through alot of stuff I'd rather not post. I took three online tests and all of them said I am very postive to have PTSD. But i have no idea if their accurate.
My question is, should I go see a psychologist? Or is this just a mental toughness thing all athletes have to deal with? The wierd thing is (MOST OF THE TIME) I don't feel these feelings in social or academic situations.
Lets get this straight assholes. This is not something to 'get over' if it was like that I wouldn't have this problem. You know how many people have told me exactly what you told me?? Look this isn't some little thing, its like a mental block i can't get over. You think I don't know getting mad at myself and over anxious hurts my game?? I try so hard to stop or just think about nothing and it still ends in the same result. Some answers from people who know what they are talking about would be appreciated.

I need advice about girls?

James James asked:

I am a freshman in high school. I have never been in a relationship.

There is this girl I have been friends with for three years. This year things have gotten a bit more... i don't know the right word. I have deep feelings for this girl. We always walk around the school together, we eat lunch together, and we are always talking. We also do things out of school. But we are still considered friends because I have not asked her out yet.

Life has gone downhill for me and I can say that I don't have any friends except this girl, but I want it to be more...sometimes; and at other times, I just don't feel turned on to her. I can't tell if she likes me, but I'm almost positive she does. She defends me all the time. If i forget a plastic fork or knife at lunch time, she just gets up and gets it for me. She laughs at the dumbest things I say, and almost always agrees with me. I have had a total of four people (all girls) tell me that I should ask her out,........but i just can't do it! If she says no, or if we do date and break up, I will have no more friends and she will be left out as well.

I am not a very sporty person. The only sport I play at school is golf. I am a 4.0+ student. The golf season started two weeks ago. There is this girl that i have seen before on the team. I have seen her with this guy at school, but never have i seen them doing anything besides talking. She is extremely pretty (more pretty than the above mentioned friend). On the third meet of the season, it was a home meet, so everyone on the team got to play, not just the top six. (I am on the top six, she is not.) I got out of the car and was getting my shoes on when this car pulls up and drops her off. I am unaware, still putting my shoes on. The next moment she is talking to me. First she just asked a simple question (can't remember what it was) I hesitated for a second and then answered her. she was standing about ten feet away from me, but I can still remember how soft her voice was. I then turned my attention back to getting my shoes on, because she had taken her cell phone out and was talking to someone. Then she hung up and I got my bag out of the trunk. she shivered and then hugged herself, and said that it was cold. I wasn't sure what to do.. and I was thinking that I should give her my sweater in the back of the car, so I walked around and got it, and came back. She was gone. I put my sweater back in the car and went to the putting greens (where we warm up by putting and chipping.) I set down my bag and began to chip at the flags. This went on for several minutes, and then i decided to get ready to play. I went back over to my bag and began to get stuff out of it. a few minutes later, the same girl (wish i knew her name) came up to me and started talking to me again. We had a small conversation about something that i also can't remember and then she walked away to talk to the coach. Ever since golf started, I have glanced up and could swear that she was looking at me, but then she looked away.

So now that I have bored the crap out of you, my question/statement is this:
I am very torn. On one side I have a three year friend that I "think" i have feelings for; and on the other side I have this totally new way pretty girl that may or may not be dating a guy ten times more popular and better looking than me. My mind is so mixed up. What do I do?
