So far this is the third net I've gone through and the best one so far. My first purchase was the Practice Golf Net & Frame by CSI Cannon Sports. On uneven ground this thing would not even stand up. Furthermore, the metal bars rusted, it would blow over from the slightest breeze despite using the ground stakes, and the bars bent using minimal force. My 2nd net was the Izzo Golf Big Daddy Insta-Net. Mine came with a missing part so my review maybe slightly biased, but even after rigging it as if it had the part I could not get it to stand. The fiberglass support bars are over-contorted IMO.

I picked this one up for $30.00, took me 20 mins to setup. The instructions are bad as with the last 2 nets I bought and assume that all instructions are for the most part cr@ppy. This one was too, but not that bad. My daughter who started golf lessons loves it and for chipping and driving it works for me so far.

Plus I scored a free subscription to Golf Digest. Free is good, but more clutter in the house and more for me to recycle.

1 out of 5 stars Ball went through net and hit my neighbor's roof.   July 17, 2007

While practicing with my driver, I hit a ball in the center of the net but the net gave way and the ball kept going. The ball went over my fence, across the street, and hit my neighbor's roof. Luckily, I did not hit anyone. I only had the net for a few weeks and did not expect the net to break so easily.

This is a piece of junk. I'm surprised at Golf Digest for putting their name on this. Don't bother with it. Directions are as bad as they can be and the thing can't stand up on it's own. Trust me- steer clear of this.
